Delacombe Thanks Our Local Heroes on First Responders Day

A community celebration bringing first responders, local schools and families together.

At Delacombe Town Centre, community is at the heart of everything we do. This June, we’re proud to host First Responders Day, a special afternoon dedicated to thanking the local heroes who support and protect the Ballarat community every day.

On Wednesday 10 June, first responders from across the region will be visiting Delacombe Town Centre to connect with locals, share their experiences and showcase the incredible work they do behind the scenes. It’s a chance to stop, say hello and show appreciation for the people who are often first on the scene when our community needs help.

To make the day even more meaningful, we’ll be displaying artwork created by local school students, including pieces from Jenny’s Early Learning Centre and another local school. Through colour, creativity and care, these students have created artwork especially to say thank you as a heartfelt gesture that captures the gratitude of the wider community.
